Mr. Murphy is an attorney licensed in Washington State focusing on fire services issues, liabilities and risk reduction and assisting members of the community with their legal needs. He is a consultant, national lecturer, educator, author and legal columnist. He is also a blogger and member of Fire Service Court Blog Talk Radio Show with Fire Engineering and a keynote speaker. He is also a National Fire Academy (NFA) Instructor and Associate Professor at the University of Florida’s Fire and Emergency Services program.
